Privacy Policy

In one paragraph

ToolsForDevs Pro is a static website. Every tool runs in your browser. We never receive, store, log, or share the text, files, keys, or other input you put into any tool. The only data we collect is aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics (page views, country, referrer) via Google Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — used only to understand which tools are popular and to monitor performance.

Tool inputs and outputs

When you paste JSON into the JSON Formatter, type a password in the Password Generator, or upload an image to the Image to Base64 tool, that data stays on your device. The computation happens in JavaScript loaded from our CDN — there is no network request that carries your tool input back to us. You can verify this by opening your browser's DevTools Network tab while using any tool.

Local browser storage

Some tools save a short history of recent inputs/outputs in your browser's localStorage so you can return to them later. This data lives only on your device — clearing your browser storage deletes it. Recently used tools are also remembered locally to populate the sidebar.

Analytics

We use two analytics services that collect aggregate, anonymized data:

• Google Analytics 4 — page views, country, referrer, device type. We do not enable advertising features or user-ID tracking.
• Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous real-user performance metrics (LCP, INP, CLS) to monitor the site's speed.

Neither service ever sees the content you paste into a tool. If you prefer not to be tracked, use a browser ad blocker or enable Do Not Track — both block our analytics scripts entirely.

Cookies

We don't set any first-party cookies ourselves. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for session tracking — these are anonymous and not used for advertising.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel's edge network. Fonts are served by Google Fonts via Next.js's automatic optimization. No other third-party scripts are loaded on tool pages.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
